Two types of paper are offered, The first is a high quality photo paper with a 'semi-gloss' finish, either Epson Ultra Premium Photo Paper (Luster) or Ilford Gallerie Smooth Pearl. They are similar in print characteristics and both have long life archival qualities, up to 100 years when displayed appropriately. Photo paper prints currently range in cost between $30 and $250 U.S. These prices are for the unmatted artwork and do not include shipping. The other paper I like is a canvas, Epson Premium Canvas Matte; it gives the artwork the look of a painting. While the canvas artwork is slightly higher in initial cost, the finished piece can be much less costly because there is no need for protective glass or mat board. You may also choose not to frame the piece which further lowers the end cost. Canvas print costs range from $35 for an 8 x 12 to $290 for a 36 x 24 image. In the case of canvas, your image will arrive rolled in a shipping tube ready to mount on stretcher bars. (I have an article about the costs and benefits of canvas prints in the Fall/Winter 2009/10 issue of Nature Photographer magazine) Click here for a 'pdf' of the article.

Because there are so many combinations of size, paper, and shipping options, etc., please contact me if you want to purchase an image for your home or office. When you purchase a print, you have my unconditional money back guarantee that you will be pleased in every way. (For those who have visited the Gray Owl web site over the years, please know that all of the images previously shown can still be purchased; simply describe the image that interests you.)

</rss:item></rdf:RDF>
