  • Causes I Care About

  • Photographers You Should Know

    • Tom Mangelsen - Images of Nature
My personal photographer hero. Tom shoots the subjects that most interest me and in locations I like to shoot.
    • Thom Hogan
An excellent writer and a supportive critic about all things Nikon.
    • Michael Reichmann - The Luminous Landscape
The photographic web site that I read first everyday..
    • Moose Peterson
One of the great veteran Nikon wildlife shooters and a good story-teller, both with his images and in text form.
    • The OnLine Photographer - Mike Johnston
A very well written, nearly daily blog about all things photographic.
    • Joe Mc Nally's Blog
Another experienced Nikon shooter with expertise on lighting. Great sense of humor along with his expertise.
    • John Shaw
Another of those photographers that I aspire to emulate. His work is technically outstanding and moving emotionally.
    • Jess Lee
Jess has lots of great shots of places I love in the western mountains.
    • Henry Domke Fine Art
A very successful fine art photographer specializing in large prints for health care settings.
    • Tim Fitzharris
A prolific shooter of our U. S. National Parks, author of many great photography books and the creator of the gray owl image that he has allowed me to use on the banner of this site.
  • Local and Personal Sites

    • La Grange Art League
One of the local galleries that has been kind enough to display my photography.
    • RetroTech.org
Occasional book reviews written by my brother Hal; insightful, sometimes irreverent reviews of books other than the current best sellers.
    • Health Care Fine Art
A periodic blog by Dr. Henry Domke about the use of fine art photography as a healing tool in hospital settings.
    • Guenther Gallery
Another very nice art gallery in suburban Chicago. Of course, they show my work.
